3. First Sight

"I found my heaven in her smile, but I know I'd walk through hell just to keep her by my side."

I was on my way to the Royal Blue Restaurant for the meeting when my phone rang, and Ziven's name lit up the screen. He rarely called unless it was urgent, so I answered immediately, a sense of unease already creeping in.

I listened in silence, my knuckles tightening as Ziven relayed the details. Anger began to simmer beneath the surface, but I forced myself to stay calm. A dark, determined smirk curled on my lips as I spoke in a low, dangerous tone, "Wrong move, Davian. You've made the biggest mistake of your life-and I'll make sure of it."

Without hesitation, I dialed Vedant and told him to cancel the meeting. He didn't question me, likely sensing the gravity of the situation. He knew that if I was changing plans so suddenly, it could only mean one thing: something dangerous was about to unfold.

"Understood, boss," he replied.

I simply hummed in response and ended the call, already calculating my next move.

Just as Ishita and Ruhanika were about to leave the classroom, an unexpected announcement halted them: there would be a surprise test, mandatory for all students.

The girls exchanged exasperated looks, clearly annoyed by the news. They had no desire to sit through an impromptu test, especially one they hadn't prepared for. However, knowing that the marks would count toward their final exams, they reluctantly decided to stay and take it. Their plans would have to wait.

With a sigh, they returned to their seats, pulling out their notes to prepare as best as they could for the sudden challenge.

A man in a black tuxedo, with dark shades and a cold commanding presence, stood the room, a figure that radiates a fearsome authority. His mere presence was enough to strike terror into the hearts of every man there. No one dared to lift their gaze; they fixed their eyes on the floor, as if that were the only way to escape the dread he instilled.

Yuvraj scanned the room with satisfaction, a glint of dark pleasure in his eyes as he observed the fear they held. This was his realm, his domain to command. Here, he haunted down traitors, unyeilding in his pursuit until they broke under his rule. And in chains before him was Davian, blood dripping from his wounds, a man once defiant, now reduced to trembling horror. Yuvraj's lips curled into a cruel smile that only deepened the terror in the air.

He stepped closer to Davian, his voice low and merciless, "How does it feel to be caught, Davian"?

His words send a chill down Davian's spine. Yuvraj leaned closer, his tone sharp and final. "Did you really think you could escape me? A grave mistake. I considered granting you a quick death, but you choose a more brutal path. Now I'll make sure you regret it".

Yuvraj picked up a bottle of acid, holding it so Davian could see it glinting ominously in the dim light.

"These are the feet you thought would carry you to safety?" He sneered pouring the acid over Davian's feet, igniting a scream that tore through the room.

"And this"' he continued coldly moving closer, "this is the brain you used to plot against me". Without a moment's pause, he poured more acid over Davian's head, watching him writhe in agony. Davian's screams filled the silence, his body shaking as the acid ate into his skin. Yuvraj remained unmoved, his face a mask of chilling indifference.

Yuvraj then reached for a knife, slicing off three of Davian's fingers in one swift Davian's cries turned raw, his voice cracking with the sheer intensity of his suffering.

Yuvraj watched impassively, then picked up a hammer, delivering a powerful blow to Davian's jaw, shattering it. Davian's body slumped, his breath ragged, his very soul seeming to want to flee.

"Give him water," Yuvraj ordered his men, his tone firm. "He doesn't get to die that easily", the other man looked on, terror etched on their faces, the legend of Yuvraj Singh yadhuvanshi now carved deeply into their memories.

Yuvraj looked down at Davian, cold fire in his gaze. "Tonight, you'll die, Davian. And I

promise - it won't be easy".

It was nearly 12:30 when we finally finished the test, and without wasting any time, we decided to head to the restaurant we'd chosen earlier for lunch.

We stepped out of the campus, settled into the car, and made our way to the restaurant. When we arrived, it was close to 1:00. The restaurant was elegantly beautiful, with an air of authenticity and understated luxury. The rich interior exuded a peaceful atmosphere, enhanced by soft, calming music, and a magnificent fountain that served as the centerpiece, adding to the charm of the place.

We chose a table by the window, perfectly positioned for a view of the fountain-a serene backdrop to enjoy with our meal. After placing our orders, Ruhanika and I fell into an easy conversation, laughing so hard that our stomachs ached from the shared jokes and lighthearted gossip.

Soon, our meal arrived. Just as I took my first bite, a strange feeling washed over me, like someone was watching me. I glanced around, but there was no one in sight who seemed out of place. Shaking off the thought, I returned to my meal, laughing and enjoying the moment with Ruhanika, letting myself relax in the warmth of good food and good company.

I was en route to the office when Vedant called to inform me that the meeting with the Bhatt's had been rescheduled to 12:00, shifting it from the morning. I ended the call and instructed my driver to take me to the Royal Blue restaurant.

As I settled into a chair, my gaze was intense and focused. It was then that Mr. Bhatt spoke up, saying, "Mr. Yadhuvanshi, you should invest in our company. It would be a great deal."

I responded, "Mr. Bhatt, how can it be a great deal when your company is on the brink of ruin? I've already invested and seen no profit."

Mr. Bhatt interjected, annoyance etched on his face. "I know, Mr. Yadhuvanshi. You want your money back."

"Don't worry, Mr. Bhatt," I replied coolly. "I'm not here to demand my money; I'm here to save your company from sinking."

A flicker of hope appeared on Mr. Bhatt's face as he asked, surprised, "How?"

Leaning back in my chair, I replied, "I have an offer-a deal for you."

Mr. Bhatt, visibly confused, asked, "What kind of deal?"

"I'm willing to invest whatever amount you need to save your company. In return, I want 75% of your company's shares."

Mr. Bhatt was taken aback. Handing over 75% of the shares would mean practically surrendering control of the company to me. However, he also knew I was the only one capable of rescuing it.

After a moment of hesitation, Mr. Bhatt replied, "I need time to think."

I fixed him with an intense gaze. "Think wisely, Mr. Bhatt, because you stand on the precipice of destruction, and the fall will ruin you completely."

I continued, "You have 30 seconds to decide whether you want to save your company."

Mr. Bhatt appeared both shocked and bewildered as I added, "You've already wasted 20 seconds. Think carefully."

A smirk played on my lips; I knew what was coming next.

With only three seconds remaining, Mr. Bhatt finally said, "Okay. I'm ready to give 75% of my company's shares."

A victorious smile tugged at my lips. "So, should I consider myself the new owner of the company?"

He merely hummed in response. We shook hands, finalizing the agreement.

As I stepped out of the VIP area, I was on the phone with Max. "Boss, the shipment has arrived in Russia, and the diamonds are ready for transport. All the arrangements are complete."

"Okay, take Vedant with you-" Before I could finish my sentence, a sound of giggles and laughter caught my attention.

When I turned to look, my breath caught in my throat, and my heart raced. I couldn't tear my eyes away from her. In that moment, it felt as if the world around me had come to a standstill, and the only word that escaped my lips was,

"MINE".
